More Victims Coming Forward and Isaac Noriega Blaming Parents For Failing To Report Abuses
The first article documents the story of another Golden Dawn Tabernacle victim of child sex abuse. In this case, a girl that was raped at the age of seven years old. When Pastor Isaac Noriega found out about it, he chose to ignore it. This article also confirms that the Tucson Policy Department are actively investigating several members of the church, including Pastor Isaac Noriega. There is also an audio recording of Noriega blaming the parents for not reporting the child sex abuse, and attempting to shirk responsibility for not taking any reporting action which is required by law for religious clergy by Arizona mandatory reporting laws. It is encouraging to see additional victims coming forward to share their stories to seek justice and also that the authorities are investigating the church and the pastor.
Golden Dawn Tabernacle Member Jose Mora Charged With Eight Counts of Child Sex Abuse
The second article documents the arrest of Jose Mora and him being charged by the Pima County Attorney's office. Mora was arrested by Homeland Security Investigations on April 10, 2025. He was charged on April 15th, 2025 by the Pima County Attorney's Office for multiple counts of sexual conduct with a child under fifteen and child molestation.

Children In An Environment At Risk For Abuse
Our analysis and investigation indicates that the youngest child was 6-7 years old when he began to be abused by Jose Mora. We have additional accounts of child sexual abuse incidents by Jose Mora that have been confirmed via direct testimony and secondhand testimony. Unfortunately, these are individuals who refuse to come forward for various reasons. Ultimately, this is not an isolated incident. There have been multiple abuse allegations that have taken place in this church, with multiple abusers. Including sexual abuse allegations by the pastor's son, Stephen Noriega, which have been reportedly been swept under the rug by his father. This is disgusting and perverse behavior coming out of a church who prides itself on being a Godly church, yet we are seeing the very opposite manifested in this church. This starts at the top, and we hold Pastor Isaac Noriega responsible despite his best effort to wash his hands of these allegations. An appropriate scripture comes to mind. "Ye shall know them by their fruits." (Matthew 17:6).
Given the pervasive culture to ignore abuse within the church, we are gravely concerned for the safety of the children in this church. Especially those that are attending the private church school (which the church officials call the homeschool tutoring center). The pastor has systematically ignored and violated the mandatory reporting laws multiple times, therefore it would be safe to assume that the school teachers and staff would do the same. This presents opportunities for perpetuators to abuse these children and should be thoroughly investigated by the authorities.
Conclusion
We commend and thank the victims that have come forward. We encourage more victims to come forward and make your voice heard. You deserve to be heard. You deserve justice. You have a platform. You have momentum. Let's take advantage of it and empower our community to come together and take a stand against the abusers at Golden Dawn Tabernacle and let justice be done.
We commend the Tucson Police Department and the Pima County Attorney's Office for their outstanding work in this investigation and for moving swiftly to charge Jose Mora. However, there is still more work to be done. Pastor Isaac Noriega and the church officials, deacons and trustees need to be investigated. The church school needs to be investigated. For the sake of the children that are still there. For the sake of the victims who have had their lives impacted and deserve justice.

Don’t get me wrong. The Bible does say to remove the person who commits immoral sexual sins from your community, but Isaac failed to do that.

This is 100% myth and fiction often used by religious people. Don’t believe me. Go ask a shepherd. Pigs however are often thought by scientists to be the most intelligent farm animals. So the study was why don’t animals fight going to the slaughterhouse and do they know what’s about to happen? Pigs although highly intelligent suffer from what’s known as heard mentality. They have learned fears and the heard mentality causes a psychological state where they stop trying to escape or resist a situation because they’ve repeatedly been unsuccessful in doing so. When 1 pig is stressed the entire So the study found that although pigs are highly intelligent and know they about to be slaughtered they suffer from heard mentality. So not sure where I’m going with this but I remember growing up in GD hearing from my parents Isaac was my shepherd and we were the sheep were capable of wandering off and how lucky we were to have a shepherd who cared so much. Now as I look into the GD fishbowl I think we were just intelligent pigs. The no it alls of the message. Have you lied? Have you eaten more than enough? You obviously have pride, which is a sin in case you didn’t know. Have you listed in your mind, have you been jealous, have you deceived your spouse or kids or friends? Have you not loved your neighbor Isaac?
All of those are sins.
Who is Isaac that he needs to expose those sins? You still believe exactly what Isaac taught, that he is supreme and you need to repent to him. And he needs to expose you to the church.
But you’re wrong. Our sins are between us and God. And we don’t have to ask for forgiveness to anyone but God. No one needs to expose us for our sins or hide them from anyone because it’s between us and God.
And you obviously don’t know the price Jesus paid when he died on the cross.
I hope some day you can heal from Isaac’s wrong teachings of the Gospel and come to know the true King of Kings who came and died for all our sins. No matter how great, and no matter how small.
